Jakarta, 22 Agustus 2019 - PT BNI Life Insurance (BNI Life) received the Very Good title for the 2019 Top Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) category and Sadiq Akasya, Main Director of BNI Life, was selected as The Most Committed GRC Leader 2019 at the Top GRC 2019 event organized by TopBusiness Magazine in collaboration with The Assessment Team and Jury Board from KNKG (National Committee on Governance Policy), IRMAPA (Indonesia Risk Management Professional Association), and ICoPI (Institute Compliance Professional Indonesia), Asia Business Research Center, and supported by several GCG consulting firms and Risk Management, Compliance Management , such as PT Sinergi Daya Prima, SGL Management, Dwika Consulting, Melani K Harriman & Associates, Intellectual Business Community. This award was presented directly by Carole Switzer, Founder & President of Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG) to Sadiq Akasya, Main Director of BNI Life, this Thursday morning (22/8) at the Flores Ballroom - Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta.

The award that we received at the 2019 GRC Summit is a form of highest appreciation from the Independent and credible Assessment Team and Jury for the Governance, Risk Management and Compliance functions of BNI Life and it is hoped that this will also have a good impact on our business going forward, explained Sadiq.

In this event, BNI Life succeeded in obtaining a 4 Star index which means VERY GOOD in the TOP GRC 2019 category by going through assessment stages carried out objectively and independently through direct interviews, Financial and Annual Reports with an assessment weight of 80% for the GRC aspect which consists of the system , infrastructure, and its GRC implementation. Meanwhile, another 20% of the assessment of business output/performance is carried out by the Assessment Team and Jury, which begins with the GCG assessment of more than 500 Companies with Systems, infrastructure and implementation of Corporate Governance (GCG), Risk Management and Compliance Management, so that it can support the continuous improvement of the company's business performance, explained Eddy Hutauruk GM Compliance, Legal & Investigation BNI Life.
