BNI Life has achieved highly positive performance in the first semester of 2023, recording a Gross Written Premium (GWP) of IDR 2.4 trillion. Investment income also reached IDR 853 billion, growing by 56.4% compared to the previous year. The net profit for the first semester of 2023 amounted to IDR 129.6 billion, an increase of 17% compared to the same period in 2022.

Neny also continues to strive to improve services for BNI Life customers by introducing new innovations. One of them is the "BNI Life Digital Policy Owner Services (bPos)" that allows customers to make changes to their policies digitally.

Customers can easily submit online transactions, such as data changes, partial withdrawals, policy recovery, premium leave, policy loans, and premium top-ups.

In addition, the "Digi Claim" service allows customers to claim insurance without having to visit a branch office. Customers can upload digital claim documents, which will be processed quickly and efficiently.

Neny also pays attention to changing trends in insurance. Currently, people are not only looking for insurance that provides benefits when the policyholder passes away but also insurance that provides benefits throughout life.

Awareness of the importance of health protection has increased since the pandemic, creating new needs in the insurance industry.

"There are products that can cover a lifetime, and there are also those limited to a certain period according to customer needs. But since the pandemic, because awareness of health is increasing, people's needs for health insurance are starting to emerge," added Neny.
