PT BNI Life Insurance (BNI Life) and PT Bank Hibank Indonesia (Hibank) are collaborating on Bancassurance in Branch business. This collaboration is marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between BNI Life and Hibank on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the BNI Life Head Office in Jakarta.

Acting CEO of BNI Life, Eben Eser Nainggolan, stated that BNI Life continues to collaborate and synergize with various parties to boost business performance, including Hibank, which officially became one of the subsidiaries of the BNI Group in May 2022.

"This collaboration is very strategic, and we hope it will drive BNI Life and Hibank to be the people's choice in providing financial inclusion support and solutions for the company's customers by offering a variety of insurance products according to their needs," said Eben in his written statement on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

He added that customers would have three choices and benefits from flagship products, namely BNI Life Steady Protection+, Asuransi BLife Solusi Abadi Plus, and BLife Plan Multi Protection Plus.

Eben hopes that these flagship products will continue to increase market exposure, which has been growing in recent times.

Additionally, BNI Life is optimistic that this collaboration can provide significant benefits to the public, especially Hibank customers.

Meanwhile, Director of Business at BNI Life, Neny Asriany, stated that they aim to increase public awareness of the importance of self-protection.

"We want to increase public awareness of the importance of preparing safe self-protection and financial protection. Through this collaboration, we hope to surpass the set targets," said Neny.

"Not only that, we will continue to explore potential business with Hibank, such as digital insurance and group insurance, so that this collaboration can continue to grow in the future," she added.

In the same context, Hibank's CEO, Jenny Wiriyanto, revealed that this collaboration aligns with Hibank's mission, which is the empowerment of the MSME ecosystem through a community-based approach.

"This collaboration with BNI Life is also a realization of Hibank's role as an orchestrator of the MSME ecosystem," said Jenny.

She explained that Hibank's role is not only as an intermediary institution that collects and channels funds back as financing but also connects MSMEs with other solution providers and services. The collaboration with BNI Life provides protection for individuals and businesses, offering holistic services to MSMEs.
