A quarter-life crisis is a period of uncertainty and self-discovery that every individual experiences from the age of 20 to their early 30s. This phase is generally characterized by anxiety or feelings of insecurity about identity, career, and so on. As we get older, many of us start to feel anxious about thoughts about the future. Call it a career, the meaning of success, finance, marriage, to something that is sought to make life happier.

Here are tips to avoid the Quarter Life Crisis:

1.    Don't Compare Yourself, Focus On Your Goals
Although a sense of insecurity often appears in this phase of the quarter-life crisis, you must immediately overcome it by reducing thoughts such as comparing yourself with other people's achievements. Focus your mind only on financial goals and self-achievements that are expected in the future. Know what you need most that are tailored to your wishes so that it can have a good impact on yourself. Make this good habit as a start to get a better financial situation.

2.    Making the Right Financial Planning
You don't have to worry about the anxiety you will experience in this phase if you can make good financial planning activities. Having a financial plan is the same as preparing for future needs without worrying about being short or running out of money. To plan finances, you can start by dividing your income into several sections of interest. For example, you can set aside 10 to 30% to fill savings, invest, and also prepare an emergency fund after basic needs are met.

3.    Choose the Right Investment Platform
The priority for choosing investment instruments during an economic recession is low-risk and easy-to-liquidate instruments, namely deposits. However, investors should be aware that the return on deposits is lower than other investment instruments. Because look for something is easy to disburse so it is possible to get laid off, be laid off and pay cuts because of the economic recession. For example, it's not even us, it could be siblings, or parents so they need our help.

4.    Think positively
Not everyone can think positively during difficult times. To deal with the so-called quarter-life crisis, you can think positively and think about good things in the future. Think of solutions instead of thinking negatively about things that aren't necessarily going to happen.

5.    Looking for a Supportive Environment
The environment is one way to overcome the quarter-life crisis. Therefore, it is very important to find a supportive environment. An unsupportive or toxic environment can make you insecure, health problems, to mental health such as depression.
